Job Title: National Sales Manager
Job Description: We are seeking a National Sales Manager to oversee our Residential Division. The National Sales Manager is responsible for coordinating overall activities for distribution of our residential products. The position requires sales and training activities with plumbing and heating wholesalers, electrical supply houses, kitchen & bath showrooms and decorative hardware showrooms. Position requires interfacing and presenting our products to architects, designers, builders and heating contractors as well as managing independent reps. The National Sales Manager is responsible for developing and promulgating the residential sales budget and coordination of marketing and trade show activities.
Required Skills/ Experience:
- 5 + years sales/sales management experience in the plumbing and heating industry calling on wholesalers, kitchen & bath showrooms, architects, designers, builders and heating contractors.
- A proven record of increasing annual sales
- Able to work independently and organize time
- Results oriented
- Team player and straight-forward communicator with a get-it-done attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to work with a range of personalities
- Excellence in forming, building and sustaining relationships
- Charismatic and inspirational presenter; excellent written and presentation skills a must
- On top of economic and market trends which affect sales goals
- Business Degree preferred
Willing to travel; position requires considerable ongoing travel
